A number of members have been busy making scrubs bags, ear savers, hearts and other gifts during lock-down and these have gone out to various hospitals and care homes, as required.
Three Committee Members kindly volunteered to be collection points, with various containers placed outside their properties to collect any items.
Several of our members are involved in some way with the NHS and we’ve been delighted to support them and their colleagues. This has resulted in some very kind words back and one lovely card read :
