Five members along with honorary members for the day, Holly, Jade, baby Nola and Buddy the cockapoo met at the Alice Lisle for a walk around Rockford Green and Moyles Court. The weather was kind to us and thr sun even made an appearance towards the end.
Parts of the trails were very muddy but it took us through an area used during WWll as a US army camp and remnants of the buildings could still be seen. At Moyles Court there is a 400 year old oak tree thought to be the oldest in the forest. In another oak tree we found a fairy door.
A warming coffee was enjoyed at the pub afterwards.
